Do we need to make reservations?
Yes, we encourage reservations! This ensures, especially during holidays, that you will know what is available. You can call 570-857-0779 to make a reservation or Book Online!
What are your cancellation policies?
Please see our "Cancellation Policy" section at the bottom of our Prices & Rules page.
What if it rains?
For our boat rentals, unless there is a thunder and lighting storm, your reservation still stands. If you would like to do a raincheck, we can arrange that for you however; your rescheduled date must stay within the current rental season.
Do offer gift certificates?
Unfortunely, No, we do not.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, or credit in the forms of Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.
Is it customary to tip the crew?
Just like others in the service industry, the crew works very hard to make sure all your need aboard the boat are taken care of. It is customary to show them your appreciation by tipping 20%.
Where are you located?
Pocono Action Sports is located at Lighthouse Harbor Marina on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack in The Poconos (North East Pennsylvania).
Do you rent Jet Skis or Parasailing?
We do NOT offer jet skis or parasailing.
Do you rent Snowmobiles?
No, we are usually closed for the winter months between November 1st and May 20th.
What time do the boats have to be back?
All rental boats need to be back by 5:00 pm.
Do I need a boating license?
YES! Pennsylvania law requires all PWC operators to have boater education and to carry a boater education card. In addition, those operating a boat over 25 hp are also required by law to pass a boater safety course and to carry a boater education card.
What if I don't have have a boating license or boat safety card?
By Law; Vessel operators are required to have a Boater Education Card MUST carry the card on board the vessel and have it available for inspection by an enforcement officer.
What if my boating license is from out of state?
We DO accept out of state boating licenses. All states that have mandatory boater education requirements will accept the your state’s Boater Education Card. Likewise your state will accept boating education cards that are issued by states that meet NASBLA requirements.
What is the difference between STANDARD and PREMIUM pontoons?
Our Standard Pontoons runs at about 90 HP. It's perfect for your general boating needs.
How many people can go in a Pontoon?
We only allow up to 10 people on the pontoons, due to the coast guard rules, there will be no acceptions. Children count as adults as well.
